Quickly Create Menus

Creating recipes is simple using our Manufacturer Marketplace of thousands of individual items or pre-loaded recipes for fruits and veggies or scratch recipes from local districts like Greenville, Dillon or Lexington and School Food Rocks. Visit the Canvas training portal or Health-e Pro Support site to learn how to use the software.

Is it really FREE?

Yes. The menu planning and analysis software, plus production module for each site has already been purchased for your district.

What do I have to purchase?

You do not have to purchase anything. Simply let us know you want to use your account to plan menus and populate online production records and we will provide your access. There are optional modules that are completely integrated including online menus, mobile app, digital menu boards and a nutrition department website.

In addition, we know that it can be time consuming to switch or start on platforms so Health-e Pro’s Services Team (made up of Registered Dietitians, state reviewers and professional foodservice staff) can provide services to add your recipes, add your menus or completely manage your account.

Do I have to purchase a whole suite?

No. Health-e Pro will take care of all the menu side for FREE. You can still keep your same POS, applications and accounting software.

Can you “integrate” with my current software?

Health-e Pro does integrate with specific software providers to provide inventory, POS, and pre-ordering options. However, if your current provider offers menu planning software, they are not one of the integration partners.

How do I get started?

An account has already been created for every district. Contact Lynn Shavinsky at Health-e Pro at lynn@healthepro.com and she will help you begin. You can log into your Canvas account and choose the Health-e Pro lessons as well.

How long does it take to get started?

Much of the work has already been done for you.

Check out our global recipes for recipes that are already credited and able to be used. They were shared by some of your fellow directors from Greenville, Spartanburg 6, Dillon, Pickens, Lexington 1 and Charleston!  Thanks to them, you can get in quickly with some great ideas!

Importantly, you can begin at any time.  You do not have to wait for a specific time.  

In addition, our Manufacturer Marketplace offers quick recipes for thousands of single items like cereal bowls or premade pizza.

I have an AR scheduled this year. How can I do this too?

The timing is great actually. Using your FREE Health-e Pro Menu Planning and Production will put all your needed menu documents in one place. If you enter that week’s menu, in 8 seconds after clicking the EZ Review, you will get the menu, USDA compliance worksheet, nutrient analysis, production records, recipes and CN labels and PFS for the week of review in a single PDF document.
