Job Title: Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Reports To: Sales Operations Manager
Summary of Position:
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), your role is to be a critical pipeline-generation engine for the sales team. Your work directly enables sales reps to focus on closing while you help ensure the right prospects are engaged, qualified, and scheduled for high-quality demos.
Key Responsibilities:
Outbound Prospecting & Calling:
– Make a high volume of outbound prospecting and follow-up calls daily
– Call assigned leads, campaigns, and call sheets provided by the sales team
– Execute cold, warm, and re-engagement outreach across assigned accounts
– Follow call scripts, talking points, and objection-handling guidelines while maintaining a natural, professional tone
Lead Qualification & Demo Booking:
– Identify and qualify prospects based on defined criteria
– Educate prospects at a high level and assess interest and readiness
– Schedule product demonstrations on behalf of assigned sales reps
– Ensure demos are properly booked, confirmed, and documented
Salesforce & Data Management:
– Log all calls, activities, notes, and outcomes in Outreach and Salesforce
– Maintain accurate lead and contact records
– Track disposition, next steps, and follow-ups
– Support reporting and activity tracking to ensure visibility for sales leadership
Sales Team Collaboration:
– Work closely with assigned sales reps to align on targeting, messaging, and priorities
– Provide feedback on lead quality, call outcomes, and messaging effectiveness
– Adjust calling strategy based on rep feedback and performance data
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Nutrition or a related field preferred
● Proficiency in CRM software and Google Suite
● Comfortable making outbound and cold calls on a daily basis
● Strong verbal communication and listening skills
● Highly organized with strong follow-through
● Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems
● Ability to manage multiple call lists, priorities, and follow-ups
